Week 10 NFL Players of the Week: Tavon Austin, Drew Brees honored

Tavon Austin had a breakout performance on Sunday and was named the NFC’s Special Teams Player of the Week for Week 10. Against the Indianapolis Colts, Austin had a 98-yard punt return for a touchdown, and later added touchdown receptions of 81 and 57 yards. He displayed the obscene speed that made him the St. Louis Rams’ top pick in the 2017 NFL Draft. Rams fans are hoping that the performance isn’t a one-time deal.

Drew Brees was named the NFC’s Offensive Player of the Week for his role in the New Orleans Saints’ record-setting performance against the Dallas Cowboys. Brees went 34-for-41 passing for 392 yards and four touchdowns, and the Saints picked up 40 first down to set an NFL record.

The New England Patriots hold a two game lead in the AFC East and face a stiff competition in Week 11 as they face off against the Carolina Panthers on Monday Night Football. This game will determine whether the New York Jets can realistically challenge for the division, while the Miami Dolphins face a must-win game against the Chargers to stay in the race.

Cincinnati holds a tenuous lead in the Cheap Youth Jerseys AFC North, but are forced to fend off two talented teams that are right on their heels after the Bengals dropped two straight games. Quarterback Andy Dalton has been inconsistent over the last two weeks, making Sunday’s game against the Cleveland Browns vital.
